Problem

The main challenge was to design a telepharmacy experience that feels effortless and intuitive for both patients and pharmacists.

For patients, the goal was to create a tool that makes healthcare access as simple as a one-tap action—whether calling a pharmacist, purchasing products online, or engaging through video, audio, or chat.
For pharmacists, the challenge was to provide a streamlined, easy-to-navigate interface that consolidates all essential functions in one place, allowing them to efficiently support patients while maintaining accuracy and trust.

Research

To design a solution that truly addressed the needs of both patients and pharmacists, I began by investigating the current landscape of pharmacy access a digital health tools.

Patients often face long wait times, difficulty reaching pharmacists, and a lack of convenient digital options. Many are uncomfortable navigating complex interfaces, especially when it comes to health and medication management.
Pharmacists struggle with fragmented systems, making it harder to manage prescriptions, patient interactions, and product sales in one place.

Solution

Based on the research insights, I structured the platform to ensure both patients and pharmacists could easily find and complete their most important tasks. The goal was to minimize friction, reduce the number of steps, and create a predictable, intuitive flow.

For Patients: Centralized access to connect with pharmacists (one-tap call, chat, or video). Simple pathways for uploading prescriptions and purchasing products.
For Pharmacists: A dashboard view that consolidates prescriptions, patient interactions, and product management. Clear navigation hierarchy to support quick decision-making and efficient workflow

A simple, intuitive experience that enables users to effortlessly consult with a pharmacist, purchase items, and access the services they need

User can preview what data they are sharing with the pharmacist during the call

User reviews final details before confirming the payment by the pharmacist

Dashboard that lets pharmacists manage consultations, prescriptions, and orders seamlessly, with customizable views that streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
